Walking 9 km to Köl Suu lake, we were unexpectedly caught in a mini snow-storm. On our return hike back to base camp, I turned around to see the image above, a snow covered mountain range. It was remarkable to see the incredible change in landscape in under 2 hours. I am grateful for the opportunity to sit down and admire the peaceful river, the contrasting colours and the majestic mountains.
