Travelling for hours, we stopped at Lake Tyrell for a break. Having rained a couple weeks prior, we were overjoyed to still see water left in the lake. Walking towards the edge, it was mesmerizing to see a clear reflection of the sky with difficulty in differentiating where the land meets the atmosphere. It is amazing to see a natural beauty so remote. Being the peak of summer we were ambushed by flies. Yet that couldn’t take away from seeing a natural beauty of a pinkish salt lake with calm water to create a perfect reflection. I wish to translate the feeling of peace through this image in your living space.
