The Universe is vast filled with stars of different elements which radiate at different levels. This produces different colours of light which then shine through the gas clouds and produces an enchanting image we see.
Zooming in to different parts of our Milkway reveals how massive our home galaxy is. This small cloud forming region is located in the Sagittarius region of our night sky. Looking at wide shots of our Milkyway, I have always wanted to capture this beautiful spot within it and being able to is so satisfying as I was astounded with the colours and stars. This image was captured in between Boulia and Longreach, QLD, where the night skies are free from Light pollution and are filled with some brilliant stars.
