With my love for astro ever growing, I had this desire to capture a HD image of our Milky Way.
What makes us so special? We have the power to look up to the stars above and realise how fortunate we are to exist amongst it.
Our Milky Way is ~200,000 light years wide with almost 400 billion stars.
With astro, it is important to gather as much light as possible in order to bring out the faint wisps of the galactic gas cloud. There was a total of 6 x 5minute exposures to bring out the details you see.
