Being spontaneous, I called up a friend and we both set out at 4am from Melbourne suburbs heading out west towards Lorne.
Just before arriving at our destination, the waterfalls, we stopped by the road side and walked down to the beach below to admire the sunrise.
Having the sky put on a show of colours really made our day and kept us awake for the rest of the journey.
