Green Island has a population of 25 people who live there to cater for the tourists who come to experience life at the reef.
The island was created ~6000 years ago from waves depositing sand and other debris onto the coral foundation.
I am grateful for the opportunity to take a flight and capture the beautiful views of our lovely Great Barrier reef and it’s inhabitants.
