Did you know?
The sandbar above is Michaelmas Cay. It is one of the most important natural seabird habitats in the Southern hemisphere.
During the peak of the breeding season in summer, upto 20,000 pairs of Seabirds make Michaelmas Cay their home.
I am grateful for the opportunity to take a flight and capture the magnificent views of our lovely Great Barrier reef and the rich and active life thriving within it.
