After witnessing a beautiful sunset at the base of Gibson steps, I made my way to the lookout point and waited just a bit longer. I stayed back even though all the crowds had left and the wind was getting chillier. Then slowly, the stars started to appear in the clear skies above, one by one. It was mesmerizing to see the Milky Way tail slowly rise with the last bit of sun rays painting the horizon. It was nice to see the waves slowly lap on the shore below with the stars rising above.
