Flying around the corner, we were awe-struck seeing the glaciers for the first time ever. It was beautiful to see millions of years of ice sitting there nestled between mountain peaks. As it slowly moves carving out fiords behind it. It was a feeling of mixed emotions as we realised that witnessing this beautiful natural glacier could only be achieved through a helicopter flight and that 20 years ago, you could walk to the base of it. Wishing that was not the case now, with climate change, it is a reality. I still feel happy and appreciative of the fact that I had the opportunity to see a glacier for the first time and the opportunity to capture it. I wish to translate the feeling of gratefulness through this image in your living space.
